Tonya grew up in the High Point/Greensboro area of NC where she often visited several relatives that owned what she believes were haunted houses. Over the years she was convinced that the activity she experienced as a young child was real. In 2007 she joined a group in Jamestown, NC where she met Sarah Sherman. Together they started the Winston-Salem Paranormal Society in October 2007. She now seeks the scientific evidence to prove that the the experiences of others are researched, investigated and documented.
Tonya also founded Triad Metaphysics in 2008 and currently works on the WSPS - Spirit Rescue Team as the case manager.

"I'm not really sure what a ghost is exactly and still have many unanswered questions concerning paranormal activity and what causes it. After having several experiences while investigating with the WSPS - Investigation Team my desire to find answers to those questions and many of the questions that have plagued me since childhood have increased tremendously.
My main goal is to join with others in the paranormal field and help find concrete evidence that will prove without a doubt that paranormal phenomena is real. I've seem many things over the years that have really blown my mind. I can't seem to find a rational explanation that will come close to explaining what, why or how these things happened. So, my search continues."

I'm really excited about returning to the 2010 ConCarolinas in June. Over the past few years there have been some really awesome speakers and panel discussions.
